Particularly timely given the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, a NIAID – World Health Organization Collaboration Center has been established as a means of enhancing the involvement of NIAID’s intramural scientists during the initial investigation of outbreaks. As a means of maintaining organization as well as complying with reporting requirements, maximizing productivity and avoiding duplicate efforts, it was necessary to development an organized system for WHO requests and associated activities. My role was to build a WHO Collaboration Center Sharepoint site within OGR’s Bilateral Collaboration site so that participating staff can organize requests, assign tasks and track progress on proposed activities and deliverables.
